Must have 1500 hours over a period of twelve months. In order to be certified you must pass the school final written exam with a grade of 75% and 180 theory hours, performing 5 1/2 practical services daily.

• Massaging/manipulating the muscles of the face, neck and scalp unit
• Shaving
• Barber stylist chemistry
• Shop management
• Salesmanship and product knowledge
• Hairstyling

  Barber Instructor Course

Must have 600 hours in the study and art of teaching specific skills including an ability to present and explain relevant subject material, demonstrate practical applications, and oversee the implementation of practical skills by students as a matter of preparing them through educational measures to perform professionally. Use of visual, audio, video will be used throughout the course of study.

• Conducting theory class
• Clinic attendance
• Record keeping and student counseling
